The TechCoach project is tackling the challenges of adopting smart farming technologies and finding solutions through collaboration. While these technologies have the potential to improve cultivation efficiency and reduce emissions, they are still not being used on farms as widely as they could be. To address this, TechCoach focuses on identifying the barriers to adoption and overcoming them through cross-sector cooperation. One of the key approaches is the Innovation Camp, where a diverse group of experts and stakeholders come together to solve predefined challenges in a collaborative setting.
As part of this international initiative, five Innovation Camps will be organized, and the first one, hosted by Jamk, will take place in November at the Korpirauha Camp Center. Ahead of the camp, we invite you to join us on September 2nd for a special webinar, where we will present the benefits of Innovation Camps, share insights from stakeholders, and reveal the challenges selected for the first session.

The event kicks off with an introduction by Hannu Haapala, Principal Researcher at the Bioeconomy Institute, who will share insights on user-driven innovation and lessons learned from smart farms.
We’ll also host an expert panel discussion on how collaboration between different stakeholders can help accelerate the adoption of smart farming solutions at the farm level.
