DSSCAST – Decision Support Systems for the Sustainable Management of Chestnut Orchards in Campania Region (Italy)

This practice abstract presents a field-based Decision Support System that combines microclimate monitoring, soil sensors, spore traps and analytical models for chestnut orchards. Through collaboration between farmers, researchers and advisers, it supports more informed irrigation, pruning and plant-protection decisions under climate and disease pressures.
